In line with the consideration and support for Out of School Youths and indigent parents in Baliwag, the Public Employment Office in partnership with other national agencies and some private offices conducts different livelihood trainings that aims to equip these individuals to have skills for micro business opportunities.
Some of the trainings are even given NCII certification from TESDA like baking and pastry, welding, automotive, physical therapy and others alike. These trainings are partnered by the local government, private schools who had the essential equipment for the practice and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). These were rendered free and are available during summer. Some schools that offer this type of trainings are Philcomtech Balagtas Inc. and Fernandez College of Arts and Technology (FCAT).
The local government unit of Baliwag also offers some livelihood trainings for farmers via farming and agricultural assistance rendered by the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) and livelihood trainings given by the Population and Nutrition Office to unemployed parents of malnourished children in Baliwag.
