On June 5, 2025, Baliwag City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), led by Mr. Gregorio T. Santos, successfully presented and defended the city’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Plan for FY 2025 and Indicative Investment Plan for 2026 before the Provincial Panel at the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) in Malolos City. The presentation aimed to ensure the city’s continued preparedness and resilience against disasters.

The plan received unanimous approval and commendation from the Provincial Panel, composed of representatives from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region III, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Provincial Health Office, and the PDRRMO. The panel lauded the city for its clear planning and strong commitment to disaster risk reduction.

This accomplishment is made possible through the support and visionary leadership of Mayor Ferdinand V. Estrella, whose guiding principle of “Serbisyong May Malasakit” continues to prioritize the safety and well-being of every Baliwagenyo.
