Seal of Good Local Governance
Baliwag City has consistently demonstrated excellence in local governance through its repeated recognition as a recipient of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) conferred by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). From 2017 to 2024, the city successfully met the stringent national standards for transparency, accountability, sound financial management, disaster preparedness, social protection, and effective service delivery. This sustained achievement reflects Baliwag’s strong commitment to good governance, responsive leadership, and continuous improvement in serving its constituents.
